More About Me

My History: Experience You Can Trust

Having grown up in the Chicago area, I was awestruck the first time I visited the scenic Columbia River Gorge. The natural beauty and wonder of the area combined with the high quality of life convinced me that this was where my family truly belonged. In 1979, I  relocated to the Columbia River Gorge with my husband, David.

Since then, my career has focused on putting roofs over people’s heads. My broad background and experience in the nonprofit housing and community development industry ranges from program administration, development and management of multi-family rental housing to land acquisition, home repair, and the renovation of single-family homes for resale.

Through my experience, I have gained knowledge of financing, downpayment assistance and other programs available for first time home buyers. I have  earned my Real Estate Broker's license in both Oregon and Washington, although at the present time I am only active in Oregon.

My goal is to serve you as a trusted advisor throughout the process and to make the transaction flow as smoothly as possible. I want to add value to not only your real estate assets but also your life!

Real estate often involves acquiring or selling the largest asset you will ever own; doesn't that warrant the utmost care in selecting your realtor? I am committed to providing you with the highest level of customer service and expertise. You deserve personalized service before, during, and after your real estate transaction.
A home is a vital aspect in all stages of life, from those just starting out in their first home to those preparing to sell and move to another place to enjoy in retirement.

Whatever your real estate goal, it may be closer than you think—just a few clicks of the ruby slippers away.

Community Involvement

I endeavor to support the communities in the Gorge through volunteer service.

As an active resident in the Gorge, I have provided volunteer services to  Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital,  Wasco County Veteran’s Committee, Trailkeepers of Oregon.  During CoVid I signed up to assist through the Oregon Health Authority/ Medical Reserve Corps.

I have also served on various non profit Boards, including  WINGS, a shelter that provides training to homeless youth, Wasco County Board of Property Tax Appeals, the Sherman County Housing Task Force and Columbia Gorge Habitat for Humanity.

My real estate experience extends beyond my clientele to the Mid-Columbia Housing Resource Center where I've been an instructor of the ABC’s of Homebuying.
